Scarlet is due any day now & I am willing to let her go open if a deposit is made before her foal heat or will help the new owner get her settled for a fee. She is a 2012 FQHR/AQHA mare the was born & raised out on the range in Alberta Canada with McGregor Quarter Horses & has been with me for 3.5 years in Eastern Washington. She is a thick mare & throws a big hip on her babies every time as well as color. Scarlet is out of a full brother to my main Mounted shooting mare, Lola. I have been crossing her on running horses for some cool futurity colts. 5 panel N/N, live cover or AI, stands tied, trailers well, very sweet mare & her babies are in your pocket. She is easy to give shots to and is good for the vet to work. She is not broke, but had groundwork done as a two year old and a few rides, so she is easy to handle on the ground, disengages her HQ & is safe to be around. She had her teeth done in 2023, feet are done regularly & she has been taken really good care of-not just thrown out in the back pasture. She has been provided high quality forage, kept on a nutritional plan that supports both the mare & the foal, and is turned our 24/7. She isn't really the alpha mare in the herd, but she stands her ground and she does not allow the others to pick on her. She has not had any issues with foaling. If she is not sold open, she will be bred back to Our Dry Fling and sold once she is settled. Please text or call if you have questions or would like to meet her 509-531-7233
